Episode 10 of Season 8's easily the best ever SV episode, though some would say that's not saying much! The Doomsday arc is fantastic! _________________ John

And episode 11 was pretty decent, too. According to tv.com (
http://www.tv.com/story/12068.html
), Tom Welling's in talks to do a NINTH series! As with all things, you have to question the point, though. To my mind the eighth has already been better than the previous seven seasons, but I'd probably prefer to see it go out on a high than chance its arm one more time. It's infamous for being hugely variable in the quality of its episodes and story arcs. What do other people think? _________________ John

Still enjoying it, though the '09 episodes have so far been a bit detatched from the thrilling arc of '08. _________________ John

"Absolute Justice" was a fun 2-part TV movie. Michael Shanks proved he
can
act, albeit with a Christian Bale gruff voice. Nice beak. Best ratings since September 2008, too - maybe a 10th season is still in the offing?! _________________ John

I don't know, I haven't gotten that far through it yet, but I have now won a boxset of season 7 so I'm on my way P _________________ Bright Blessings,

Apparently it's looking promising for a 10th season (and Supernatural a 6th). _________________ John

I'm never sure that long shows aren't pushing it, I mean I enjoy watching them but how the hell do you beat the Devil arriving on Supernatural for a bad guy show down?????
Hmmmm....Sci-fi showed reruns of smallville till what the 4th season? E4's showing about the 5th or 6th I'd guess...although they keep mucking it about. Last year I gave up watching them on E4 as they were showing at least 2 different seasons at different times through the week and when I was using sky plus they didn't separate them so if you series linked one of the seasons you ended up with every single episode they were showing from every season - including repeats of the same episodes through the week... _________________ Bright Blessings,

lol
I guess the alternative is to get the box sets from here or the US...
Anyway, it's still one of those shows that has plenty of ho-hum episodes but there's always a few really decent ones to keep me coming back for more. Supernatural's definitely the superior show at the moment, though. I imagine they'll downsize it (SN) a bit if they do go forwards with a 6th season, as you rightly suggest, in their universe you can't get bigger than the devil! Maybe they'll drop the arc stuff and return to monster of the week? _________________ John
