Must admit, I'd forgotten completely about it until I clicked on my old post from May 2007
>> Anyone see the late night newspaper review last night on Sky News? There's an article in today's Times Newspaper about the new Kudos series Outcasts that appears to bare a striking resemblance to Blake's 7; the article had a pic of Avon and Tarrant. The headline is "BBC goes back to the future in ratings war."
>> The newsreader (Alan......) remembered that "Gareth somebody" and Paul Darrow were in it as was "Servalan" and that he was in "hard-core anorak mode" also stating that "if he was a member of one of those fan clubs he wouldn't admit to it". Apparently "fan conventions recall whobby sets and malfunctioning weapons" according to the article. Thanks to the red button as I was able to record the repeat; actually it's not the first time that a Sky Newsreader has come out as an "anorak" during the newspaper review.

At this speed (certainly not faster-than-light) we'll see this in 2020!
