Lost has proven time and again that dead does not mean gone. Characters have reappeared in visions, as well as showing up in various situations following their demise on the island. As such, the rumors (some now confirmed) about who will be appearing in the final season of this popular show. Here’s the current possibilities for next season’s return from the grave.
Boone’s sister Shannon might is rumored to be returning following an interview with actress Maggie Grace by E! Online. While Grace has only mentioned that she is looking forward to spending time in Hawaii (though it’s not certain that she’s actually planning to do any work while she’s there), it is quite tempting to look forward to her return to the mysterious island of Lost.
Charlie, played by Dominic Monaghan, has been showing up around Hurley since shortly after his death. It’s not particularly surprising to hear that this character will have an important role to play in the final season. This rumor is highly debated, but see the ABC commercial that has us all wondering below.
Though she didn’t die, Claire was absent for the entire previous season. It is confirmed that Emilie De Raven will reprise her role for the final season. For many that once loved the innocence and naïveté of this character, the chance to see how the character will evolve into the final season is quite intriguing.

The first two episodes are real humdingers! I was expecting it to limp to the finishing line but on this evidence they're pulling out all the stops! _________________ John

Yes they really have got back on track. And for once I was not too confused with what was going on.
There were even a couple of explanations for some of the weird stuff.
I'm sure by the end we will still be left with plenty of unanswered puzzles though!!

Can't believe it's almost over. Dreading the end, but then we can watch it all over again in quick succession, and on Blu-Ray. It might actually make sense the second time around! _________________ John

What a great finale. Okay, they didn't come up with something truly original to round it off (Ashes to Ashes, anyone?!), but it felt...Right. Six years of intriguing, exciting, moving drama with occasional dips, tangents and bafflement along the way! I can't wait to start watching it all over again. _________________ John

Well, all that build up and it just fizzles out.
Promises to answer all the questions were reneged on.
Unless we are to assume that the whole six years just happened in Jack's head.
Or what?
Superb series, but poor ending as I've still no idea WTF that last episode was all about.

So, let me see ... just gotten around to the final episode.
They were all dead, knocking at Heaven's door. The end credits rolling over the wreckage of the plane ... did no-one survive in the first place?
Were the flashbacks a combination of reality and wish fulfillment, actually leading up to everyone getting the happy ending in their minds that they all wanted, to give them final peace before moving on to infinite consciousness?
Did we ever resolve the polar bears - being something to do with the Dharma initiative?
You see, there we go ... an ending that should get us all talking as we bring our own perspective to what we have seen.
Hopefully we'll still be debating this in years to come!
